Built in accurate level and 2.3 Lbs of Brass will make your VPI Table sing. The same great sound as the TTMiddleWeight with a clamp.
This is precision machined to fit the VPI Turntable 1/4 20 Threaded Spindles. It weighs a heavy 2.3 lbs/1080 Grams. Diamond machined from a 4.5 LB billet of Brass; this is an effective dampening and coupling device. There are no adapters, simply spin it on with the CNC Profiled Flower Style handle. The spindle bore is .300 x .25 diameter that is designed as a lead in to the ¼- 20 that is threaded to 1.0 inch depth to fit most VPI Turntables, see next paragraph for details.
The VPI Brass turntable stabilizers are designed to reduce sonic vibrations in the vinyl translating to better sound at the stylus, when clamped the outside diameter locates the label to the VPI gasket/ring.
The sound improvement is dramatic; creating solid, deep and with rigidly smooth control. Machined from Solid billet Brass with 16 Micro Inch Surface Finish then buffed by hand. This Audiophile product is suitable for all VPI Tables (Except the VPI HW19 MKIV Series, please inquire, available by request)
