TTWeight Carbon donut (CNC machined) insert have a .005" thick epoxy gel-coat surface that results in a beautiful, deep, crystal clear finish without voids or pinholes. This added surface preserves the natural shape of the carbon fibres. Without this extra gel-coat, the carbon fibres will appear flattened or smashed, as seen in cheaper, lesser quality carbon fibre products.
The sound is no nonsense, clean virtually eliminating phase shift with the soft airy sound provided by the layer of carbon fibre.
The TTMicroPlatter adds a mass of the 3.5 lb to the platter. The solid Copper Mat provides an incredibility dense mating surface for the carbon donut providing the optimal vibration reducing mating surface.
