The COPPER top surface is machined with a special radial undercuts improving the dissipation and absorption of energy from the LP and Stylus. The undercuts serve to dampen and reduce standing waves formed on the platter surface. The radial undercuts dissipate and control unwanted energy, each undercut slightly different for the dissipation of standing waves.

- The platter is flat within .002 of an inch over the entire area and parallel within .0015
