Inner Rim Drive System

The drive wheel is driven directly from the servo motor, the solid 5/8 diameter brass drive wheel has four special drive rings evenly spaced over .432 inch length that driven internally on the OUTSIDE of the inner drive diameter at 9.840 inches.
This system provides direct transfer of torque to the platter, decoupled by four drive rings for silent operation. Each ring has a specified compression to the drive platter providing silent operation, long life and trouble free operation.
Maximum torque transfer is 50 to 55 oz in of direct power, no wow and flutter and rpm deviation is difficult to measure, the resulting tone control is phenomenal.
