Tips and Tricks: Handling and Storing the TTOuterRings
Some customers have asked about the handling of outer rings.
Answer: The TTOuterRing should be put in place on the turntable with the TTConcentricty disk.
When you have finished playing, remove the outer ring with the concentricity disk also, this way there is no contact and fingerprints on the outer rings top portion which is visible when playing.
Please note the concentricity disk should be used at all times to store the outer ring to prevent damage.
To locate the Outer Ring, once placed on the record gently tap the top of the setting disk to center it, then gently remove the disk.
If installed correctly there should be no run out of the outer ring.
Leave the Concentricity disk over the LP when finished as a protective cover for the platter and or album.
